This time, composer Mr. Yang, Yi-po was invited to introduce his newest piece, “The Forests of Formasa”, and one of its movements, “The Songs of the Mountainous Forest”, was arranged to collaborate with the student choirs from Liu-Gui Senior High School and Bao Lai Junior High School led by Mr. Chen, Jun-zhi, and to record the beauty and sorrow of the forest in Taiwan. Meanwhile, the concert will also restage the masterpiece by composer Mr. Lu, Liang-hui, “The Ritual Music and the Bliss of Dance”, which depicts the dance and musical festivities in aboriginal culture. On top of the elements mentioned above, TPCO also graciously invites the renowned Taiwanese violinist, Professor Lin, Cho Liang to elaborate the violin concerto “The Image of the Mountainous Land” composed by the great composer, Mr. Guan, Nai-Chung.

\n\nBased in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Taiwan Philharmonic Chinese Orchestra(TPCO), led by Dr. Paowen Ku and other major artists, has been devoting themselves to the cultural stage of Chinese music ever since it was established. For years, TPCO has received awards presented at the Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music, and in this particular concert, it will walk us through the aboriginal music of Taiwan and embrace the beauty of the forests in Taiwan.

\n\nTPCO also graciously invites the renowned Taiwanese violinist, Professor Lin, Cho Liang, who has been awarded by Grammy Awards and some other musical magazines as the best violinist. Therefore, with his skillful and fruitful capacity in the violin domain, Professor Lin is widely recognized as the non-dual violinist that can perfectly elaborate the violin concerto “The Image of the Mountainous Land”.
