Taiwan Philharmonic Chinese Orchestra
\n\nThe Taiwan Philharmonic Chinese Orchestra has selected five classic pieces of the modern Chinese music, including Spring Trees and Sunset Clouds Fantasia, an ensemble written by Ding-He Chang and edited by Chih-Hsuan Liu. This song is one of the few Chinese traditional music pieces centering on "Friendship" and it has the beauty of "Humanity", "Time" and "Space". In order to let the audience view the city scenery of Kaohsiung through music, the concert arranges two songs from Liang-Hui Lu, a renowned composer, representing Kaohsiung's scenery. Love of Sizihwan, a violin concerto, and Love River Imagination, a piano concerto, will be performed by Taiwanese pianist Ruei-Bin Chen and violinist Yi-Fang Huang, two internationally recognized music performers. The audience will be able to tour the beautiful scenery of Kaohsiung in their precise and exquisite interpretation. Chen-Yu Tsai, The chair Erhu of the Orchestra, will perform Incense in Heart, the work of composer Chi-Ping Chao. In the grand finale, Sky Net, a large-scale ethnic orchestra music composed by Wei-Lun Luo, will be played, guiding the audience through a spiritual journey reflecting music and literature.
