2027《SOUND OF WISDOM》— Kaohsiung
With hearts filled with joy and gratitude, Imee Ooi's 《SOUND OF WISDOM》 World Tour 2.0 finally returns to Taiwan!
This time, Imee and her team will take the stage at the Weiwuying National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts Opera House, renowned as a world-class acoustic venue, presenting an extraordinary evening of Buddhist sacred music.
Joining Imee Ooi on stage will be the male vocal ensemble JSJG (Jing Shi Jin Gang). With two new members joining the ensemble, the group will officially expand into "The Ten Vajras", bringing an even richer, more powerful and resonant vocal presence to the stage.
For this special performance, Imee has also created new elements for the production, featuring two seasoned dancers and vocalists in a special presentation of 《Ksitigarbha's Compassionate Deliverance》, a dance theatre work inspired by the story of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. Music, voice and movement come together in a unique theatrical experience.

About Imee Ooi
Her music and voice seem to flow through the universe as a sound of compassion, nourishing and comforting hearts for over 30 years.
From sacred temples and mountains across China to music festivals in Germany;
from Dharma gatherings in the United States to a national memorial ceremony in Myanmar;
from spiritual gatherings in ancient Indian cities to urban concerts in Korea;
from classrooms in South African orphanages to meditation retreats in Europe;
from a depression treatment centre in Singapore to spiritual counselling for inmates in Malaysian prisons;
from prayers in the mountains of Argentina to Tibetan aspiration prayers;
from morning and evening chanting at Indonesian temples on volcanic hills to a 9/11 memorial at a Catholic church in New York;
from Japanese film soundtracks to collections of renowned Italian violin makers.
Imee Ooi is a Malaysian Chinese Buddhist musician and a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans composition, music production, performance, arrangement, creative direction and musical direction.
With nearly 1,000 original and arranged works to her name, her music has reached audiences around the world.
Through music, Imee seeks to build a bridge between cultures and generations, conveying timeless wisdom from Buddhist scriptures, religious texts and poetry to inspire, comfort and heal.
Her music and voice are known for their purity, serenity and unique ability to transcend language and cultural boundaries.
In 1997, she founded IMM Musicworks Production, where she has continued to work independently and quietly for nearly three decades.
In recognition of her creative leadership and contribution to promoting peace and cultural exchange through music, she was conferred Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) in 2020.
About JSJG
JSJG (淨世金剛) is an all-male vocal ensemble founded for Imee Ooi’s 2015 concert premiere in Malaysia. The group comprises eight accomplished singers with backgrounds in classical vocal performance, pop, folk music, musical theatre, and stage arts.
With their vocal ability and unique stage presence, JSJG has drawn admiration from the performing arts community across Southeast Asia, earning recognition for their distinctive approach to presenting music that conveys compassion, harmony, and positivity.
Under the artistic direction and training of Imee Ooi, JSJG aspires to use the power of the human voice to share compassion, goodness, beauty, and light, contributing through music to the creation of a more harmonious and enlightened world.
