“Questioning the cyclical patterns of life and nature.”
The state of birth and death seems somewhat similar: both are weak, both rely on others, yet return to singularity at the moment of parting.
Palingenesis refers to a creature without feathers or fur, representing the primal state of life’s beginning and end. Life is a cycle, progressing from the vulnerability of infancy to the vigor of adulthood, before returning to a frail, skeletal origin.
Life is a cycle, from Innocent little kid to a grown person, and finally slowly become skinny and back to the initial state.
Thinking about the pattern of existence of life itself. In the beginning, human race is just purely existed, and the moment of existence is nihilistic. It must be rendered through time to make the existence of life meaningful and exciting. And life is just like a cycle, at the level of form, there are many opposing life and death, creation and destruction, generation and destruction, a life cycle of a star or planet, a body, a tree, and a flower, the rise and fall of civilization; But it is like a snowy winter, turning the earth into a state of extreme silence. With the change of seasons, spring comes, and everything recovers, but it will surely usher in a snowy winter again; When we were born, we are limited by time. How do we build our own value and existence in this short cycle, and finally we can bloom and slowly wither.

His work deconstructs and reconstructs movement vocabulary, utilizing the body as both a vessel and a medium. With a strong visual language and a sci-fi cinematic atmosphere, he extends the possibilities of contemporary dance, transforming it into an immersive experience that transcends mere performance—becoming a dialectical exploration and a sensory-driven social experiment.

Founded in 2022, D_Antidote Production is led by artistic director CHUANG Po-hsiang, who seeks to explore the body as a medium, drawing inspiration from both social realities and imagined worlds. By integrating diverse elements and expressive forms, the company transforms artistic language into a fusion of movement, imagery, and emotion—unraveling the subtleties of human experience through a striking visual aesthetic.
Their creations act as a mirror, inviting audiences to reflect, engage, and search for their own "antidote" to life. Through continuous artistic exploration, D_Antidote Production aspires to bring people together, using art as a means to amplify human connection and warmth in an ever-evolving world.
