What do you consider to be the most important thing in your life?
\n\nIs it work, family, your health? Would you be willing to sacrifice a little bit of health for a lot of success? When everything happens too fast, do you nd yourself wanting to slow things down?
\n\nIn fact, there exists a strong connection between the absurdity of work and the act of juggling. In La Main de l’Homme Humanoptère, seven jugglers form a micro-society and develop complicated communication and relationship links. The performers reinterpret and reassess the concepts and denition of work through their body movements and procient juggling skills. The minimalism of the performance serves to connect circus juggling with contemporary social philosophy. Seemingly preposterous and elaborate games of the body are in fact insightful social fables.
