【Weiwuying Family Day】 Shake It!
Family Time Fueled by Inspiration from Kids Aged 3 to 8
Spend 50 minutes away from a screen, and immerse yourselves in some family time. Let us help you! The sensations you achieve through doing, smelling, and touching natural materials will enhance your feelings for the environment, and promote more delicate and sensitive connections with it.
★World Music, Exercising the Mind and Body
For this Weiwuying Family Day, didgeridoo and tank drum player Da Gong and improvisational dancer Jun Jun are paired together to showcase how dance and music (created using a historical instrument in didgeridoo and a new instrument in tank drum) inspire imagination and provoke thoughts.
Big Mama by Han Jie Zuo
Having studied dance since her youth, Han Jie Zuo has choreographed many pieces and dedicated herself to the world of theatre production and creation. After becoming a mother, she used theatre to raise her children and to witness the perfect connection between babies and theatres. Leader and Arts Director of Art-Mate, Zuo graduated from the Graduate Institute of Transdiciplinary Art. She has created many pieces, linking theatres and daily life. In 2016, Zuo created “We Need a Flower” for the Number 1 Baby Theatre Series, having been granted a stipend for young art elite by the Ministry of Culture. It is via the physical and sensual development of babies, we learn to deconstruct elements and aesthetics of theatre, allowing babies and adults to be immersed in the theatre. |

Family Day Partner by Jun Jun, The Wanderoots
| | Jun Jun is an artist who delivers drama, dance, body, behavioral, and improvisational performances, exploring the value of physical existence in indoor theaters, outdoor theaters, different environments, and different fields. Together with Da Gong, they co-founded The Wanderoots in 2015, where they experiment different performances and deliver them in various venues.
