Art Dialogue and Cross-Generation Conversation
This event encourages conversation between generations by letting people enjoy a performance together. With 60 years of age differences, the life experiences lead to varying perspectives when enjoying performances, which will lead to a new-found intimacy between generations.
“Art Dialogue and Cross-Generation Conversation” was first organized in 2016 and was popularly received. In 2018, the event is once again arranged during the Grand Opening, inviting 25 participants. Among the participants, the elderlies are 76 years old on average and students with an average age of 19.6 years old; the oldest participant is 70 years older than the youngest. We give thanks for the participation of Kaohsiung elderly apartment Song He Lou, Department of Theater Arts of National Sun Yat-sen University, and Perfume Dance Café Weiwuying store; their efforts have allowed the 2018 event to run smoothly with great performance, cheerful chatting in Mandarin and Taiwanese, and delicious snacking.
We are looking forward to the 2019 event, which will once again become a bridge between different generations using various groups and performances. We hope that cross-generation conversation will be a natural part of everyday life. Have you talked with your grandparents recently? Have you had a chat with the young people lately?
