ANNOUNCEMENT: POWER OUTAGE & TEMPORARY CLOSURE DUE TO TAIPOWER MONITORING EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION

The National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying) is installing power-monitoring equipment by Taiwan Power Company on Monday, June 8. The venue and all stores in residence will be temporarily closed on that day, and the parking lot will only be available for vehicles to leave. The venue will resume services from 00:00AM on Tuesday, June 9. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Weiwuying follows the Guidelines for Large-Scale Public Gatherings in the Wake of the COVID-19 Outbreak issued by Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) to organize all public events. We conduct risk assessments based on the six indicators, developing epidemic prevention plan, implementing “social-distancing” and other safety measures throughout the activities, in order to lower the risk of infection of the participants and performers. The venue is sanitized and cleaned hourly; the staff members are measured forehead temperature before work and wear facial masks throughout the duty. Relevant epidemic prevention measures shall be adjusted in accordance with the latest instructions of the central government. We advise you to wash your hands frequently, and seek medical attention as soon as possible when having a fever or showing acute respiratory symptoms.
