LEE Mon-puo, a Taiwanese-Spanish cellist, has been praised by El País for "his imagination on sound, masterful virtuosity, and the eloquence of his phrasing." He won first prizes at the Karl Davydov, Pedro Bote, and Llanes International Competitions, second prize at the Isang Yun Competition (Korea), and third prize at the George Enescu Competition (Romania). At 22, he made his debut at the Berliner Philharmonie performing DVOŘÁK’s Cello Concerto, earning critical acclaim. He has performed with the Berliner Symphoniker, Deutsches Kammerorchester Berlin, Enescu Festival Orchestra, Nürnberger Symphoniker, and Harbin Symphony Orchestra, and was a member of the Kelemen Quartet, collaborating with Robert LEVIN, Clara-Jumi KANG, Vilde FRANG, and Alexander GADJIEV. His music, marked by creativity and depth, continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
