Jazz Piano & Arrangement|YuYing HSU
An award-winning Taiwanese jazz pianist, composer, arranger, producer and educator, YuYing HSU has performed in music festivals and legendary jazz clubs around the world with renowned musicians such as Albert "Tootie" HEATH, John RILEY, "Drum King of Taiwan" Rich HUANG, Paquito D'Rivera, Michael Philip MOSSMAN, Alex SIPIAGIN and Italian bassist Giuseppe BASSI. In recent years, she has participated in various cross-genre projects and has been invited as a featured artist to play at Taiwanese pop star A-MEI's ASMR World Tour Concerts.
In 2018, HSU's third album HAPPEND, HAPPENING won three Golden Melody Awards for "Best Instrumental Album Producer", "Best Instrumental Album" and "Best Instrumental Recording Album". The following year, her original composition "CHAPTER III: INDIA, ITALY AND I" from her fourth album PROJECT 3 also won the same prestigious award for "Best Instrumental Composer". HSU has recently released her fifth solo album In the Cave, a fusion of her original compositions, improvisational piano playing and electronic music that showcases her willingness to take risks and experiment with sound.
Drums|Gabriel HAHN
As a professional drummer, percussionist, singer, composer and educator, Gabriel HAHN is a versatile musician whose work spans a wide range of styles, including sacred music, classical music, jazz, pop music, world music, and experimental music. Of French-German descent, he was born and raised in a classical music family in Munich, Germany. He first studied violin and piano before turning to drums at the age of nine. Early in his career, he performed with many renowned Bavarian jazz musicians such as Paulo CARDOSO, Claus REICHSTALLER, Peter O'MARA, Karen EDWARDS, Leonid CHIZHIK, Christian ELSÄSSER, Thomas STABENOW, and Rocky KNAUER. During his jazz studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, he also served as the drummer for both the Bavarian Youth Jazz Orchestra and the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Germany.
Double Bass|Julian WITTICH
Julian WITTICH (b. 1999) is a Taiwanese-Dutch jazz bassist and composer based in New York City. Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, WITTICH started playing the double bass at age 16. He later studied at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the Netherlands. He has also made a name for himself in both the Taiwanese jazz and pop scene, working with established artists such as JJ Lin, 9m88, and YELLOW. WITTICH has most recently obtained his master's degree from Manhattan School of Music in New York City under the guidance of legendary jazz bassist Buster WILLIAMS. He is currently making his name as an up-and-coming bassist in New York, performing with luminaries such as Grant STEWART, Chris BYARS, Dan BLOCK, and Aaron JOHNSON, to name a few. WITTICH is now in the process of recording his debut album, set for release in early 2026.
