24 Hours TCHAIKOVSKY - 【In Love with TCHAIKOVSKY Midnight Jazz】
Written by YuYing HSU
Sincere and Elegant
What allures me most about TCHAIKOVSKY's music is its sincerity. Within the elegant, touching melody, he shares both the resplendence and the struggles of life, the motifs that reappear at times reflecting his strong hope within. His music is not some lofty expression beyond our reach but an authentic articulation of what was going on in his mind.
The melodies he wrote are closely integrated and free of incongruity. His taste, character, and aesthetic are present in every detail, much like when people inadvertently reveal how they are truly feeling in the way they sit, walk, or put something away. The elegance in his music is also magnetic to me because even when it is melancholy or unrestrained, it still possesses a strong elegance of dramatic tension.
I am to meet up with TCHAIKOVSKY in 2025. As seen in his music, salvation and liberation will only come by confronting the self. What does a special blend of TCHAIKOVSKY at midnight look like? Come to Weiwuying and see!
