\nWeiwuying is a field for artists' expression on stage and a scenic area in Kaohsiung. This time, the curator and artists are led into Kaohsiung, making the Kaohsiung Main Public Library near the harbor their stage; they will also permeate and be permeated by Kaohsiung citizens, telling each other their respective strengths!

Ng Chor Guan is an interdisciplinary Malaysian artist who has spent years exploring the relationships between contemporary art, social development, original art, and local people. He is invited to participate in Kaohsiung’s artist-in-residence program, where he will use his experience in collecting and exploring past and modern local history, geography, and human culture from streets and alleys; and details from people’s daily lives to make them into art while incorporating theater elements. He will use surreal sound and projection to “transform” people’s concept of space and show avant-garde, original performing arts-related vocabulary.
